Katherine Heigl reveals that she grew up in a bubble of white and how this experience impacted the way she raised her adopted multiracial kids. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about her complexion until she came across her adopted sister who was from South Korea. When I inquired of Meg how she was treated while out in public, either regardless of whether we were with our parents, she said it was different. Meg replied "Oh Yes! All the time!" Heigl told her parents this made her realize how foolish she was. According to the actor, she became furious. She wanted to channel this energy into helping her adopted girls.
