Adams was the daughter of a U.S. Army officer in Italy and grew to be a resident of Castle Rock Colorado. The actress began acting and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to the regional theater in Minnesota which was where she got her first role in a mock documentary film about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her debut as a screen actress was a bright-eyed but sweet contestant. Then, she relocated to Los Angeles in order to make a name for herself as an actress. The husband of her Tony Curtis was her partner between June 1950 and September 1992. They had two kids, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's career in film began in the the late 1940s when she was signed by MGM. The actress was discovered by Norma Shearer. She appeared in several popular movies in the subsequent decade including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis film from 1954).
