Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada and is an actor who has appeared in numerous television series. She also excels in the world of film. Her work is well-known on both Canadian as well as American TV. When Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her older sister Katie while filming one of her film. She started taking classes in acting and auditions following realizing she had a passion for acting. She began with some commercials and was soon selected as a child actress on the Canadian television show, Are You afraid of the dark? which featured her in just one scene without any dialog. In the year she turned fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough when she was made a regular of the WB TV show Glory Days. Emily's acting skills caught the attention from Dawson's creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily was also a photographer and ballerina was named by Teen magazine as one the most talented actresses under the age of 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
